Senior Project Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with hospitality or restaurant retail technology experience who is interested in leading technical projects with some of the most well-known brands in the restaurant space with the goal of ensuring efficient and effective execution. You’ll focus on managing technical projects as brands look to add to/replace their existing tech stack and online suites. This role will sit within our System Solutions department.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the on-time (or early) execution and delivery of project deliverables.
- Maintain responsibility for client-project deliverables. This includes preparing for meetings, leading and attending meetings, and writing client emails and recaps.
- Manage client communications for all projects as delegated by the Associate Director of Project Management. This includes syncing with main Brand points of contact, third-party vendors (if applicable), and other stakeholders on Zoom calls, and via Asana, Slack, and email.
- Drive project task completion with the System Solutions and Client Operations teams for total visibility on project processes, plans, timelines, documentation, and governance. (ie changing schedules, routing progress, communicating when a project is off track or at risk)
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation via Notion, Asana, and Google Drive, and other tools as needed
- Monitor client communication, partner communication, internal communication, and any updates on project assignments via Asana, Slack, and email
- Advance and implement project management initiatives as directed by the Associate Vice President of System Solutions.
- Ensure all project deliverables and timelines are executed timely and successfully, along with managing high-level project statuses for Leadership visibility
- Proactively evaluate and implement aligned recommendations to optimize and grow the Project Management Department function (including, but not limited to: optimizing existing services, creation of new services, and documentation creation for new platforms)
- Act as an expert and source of truth for internal project management workstreams, flows, setup, and best practice
- Function as a project escalation point of contact for the Project Management team
- Experience managing people is required
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a Project Management role required
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry or with corporate or franchise-owned restaurant brands required
- Tactful communication skills to clearly and articulately resolve issues that arise with clients
- High level of organization and ability to balance deliverables, along with managing multiple priorities
- Ability to not only work independently on clients but also collaboratively with the greater team to proactively resolve any client concerns
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Asana, and Notion is preferred, but not required!
- Experience in leadership and people management experience is required.
