Client Operations Project Manager
5&5 is looking for a Project Manager with experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail technology to lead client project execution and internal project management initiatives. In this role you will manage client implementations end to end, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams including Client Operations, Technical Operations, and Loyalty to plan workstreams, communicate status to clients, mitigate risk, and continuously improve processes and templates. This role sits within Client Operations and plays a key role in ensuring seamless project execution and operational success.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the end to end execution of client projects, owning planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, status documentation, and delivery to ensure projects meet objectives and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned implementations and workstreams, providing consistent communication and status updates to internal teams and external clients.
- Lead coordination across Client Operations, Technical Operations, and Loyalty, integrations, and third party vendors to align assets, requirements, and timelines.
- Oversee and track store onboarding progress, run quality assurance checks, and validate configurations prior to launch.
- Maintain and improve project documentation, templates, and tracking systems such as Asana, Notion, Smartsheet, and Google Suite to ensure visibility and accuracy.
- Run client and vendor meetings, prepare agendas and recaps, identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively escalate blockers when needed.
- Implement and optimize processes and project workflows that increase team efficiency and improve delivery consistency.
- Support onboarding and training for new Project Management team members and contribute to a collaborative, accountable team environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Three or more years of project management, client facing, or operations experience in a hospitality, retail, or technology environment.
- Experience with online ordering and third party delivery vendor integrations such as Olo, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub is a strong plus.
- Prior experience working with restaurant or franchise owned brands is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solution oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Hands on experience with project management tools such as Asana and Notion and support platforms such as Zendesk and Google Suite.
