Junior Project Manager

5&5 is looking for a Junior Project Manager with experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail technology to support client project execution and internal Project Management initiatives. In this role, you will assist in managing client implementations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with a Senior Project Manager and cross-functional teams to track project milestones, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Successful candidates will need to have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. You should be analytical, tech-savvy, proactive, and an excellent communicator, capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams.

This role sits within our Client Operations department and plays a key role in ensuring seamless project execution and operational success.

What You’ll Do

• Manage project timelines and coordinate tasks to ensure on-time and successful client project launches.
  
• Serve as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  
• Oversee and track store onboarding progress, including quality assurance checks and follow-ups.
  
• Assist in the implementation of new processes and optimizations to improve project efficiency.
  
• Maintain and update project tracking systems such as Asana, Notion, and Google Suite to ensure visibility into project status.
  
• Support corporate and franchise onboarding initiatives, ensuring all required actions are completed efficiently.
  
• Coordinate and facilitate store update requests, user management activations, website maintenance submissions, and sales validation tasks.
  
• Attend client and vendor meetings to provide insight into project progress, identify risks, and troubleshoot issues as needed. Taking notes and prepping agendas and recaps.
  
• Proactively identify potential project bottlenecks and work with internal teams to resolve them.
  
• Assist in developing documentation and reporting to improve project execution and tracking.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of project management, client-facing, or operational experience in a hospitality, retail, or technology environment.
  
• Experience managing online ordering or third-party delivery vendor integrations (Olo, UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.) is a plus.
  
• Prior experience working with restaurant or franchise-owned brands is highly preferred.
  
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion) and support platforms (Zendesk, Google Suite) preferred.
