Content Specialist

Full Time | Tijoh | Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and strategy-minded individual to assist in the development of content for our internal brands and clients. This person will work closely with our Brand Marketing Lead to create monthly content calendars for each brand, to include photography, videography, and creative copy designed for social media postings.

As content creator you will have the opportunity to experiment and explore creative ideas through research, A/B testing, and innovative creative. You will have knowledge of all social media platforms and trends and have the ability to access insights and adjust content strategy as needed.

As Content Specialist, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Create content that is engaging, authentic, and personal
  • Building, testing, publishing, and analyzing posts on all social channels
  • Identifying and interpreting social media trends, platforms, and tools
  • Engaging with customers to build relationships and passion
  • Create, post, and manage monthly social media calendar for applicable brands
  • Developing social media reports and analyzing campaign and content results to share insights and recommendations
  • Shooting and editing video and photos using in-phone apps
  • Consistently engaging and responding to comments and messages within all social media platforms

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and weaknesses (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and efficiently
  • An interest in social and cultural trends
  • A passion for creating content – ability to capture lifestyle and product photography and ability to create short-form video
