Menu & POS Specialist

Full Time | Remote | US | $50K - $70K

5&5 is looking for someone well-versed in menu building for restaurant technology platforms (with a core concentration on using Olo Menu Builder). You’ll work with some of the most well-known brands in the restaurant space configuring and optimizing their digital menu, impacting owned sales channels and third-party. Your core focus will be assisting the menu team with digital menu builds and optimizations, as well as POS configurations primarily focused around digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with brands to resolve menu user experience issues, mismatches, and optimization requests to ensure the menu fully integrates down to the POS
  • Develop client relationships as a trusted menu specialist resource
  • Focus on allocating the best possible levels of client satisfaction to deliver solutions to client concerns, this can include advisement, training, and or implementation of changes to platforms like Olo
  • Work collaboratively with our partner contacts to develop strong relationships, leading to successful client launches
  • Work with and support the Technical Strategist/Menu team to optimize 5&5’s menu best practices to continue to deliver effective results for client brands
  • Lead calls with brands and partners as a restaurant technology menu subject matter expert
  • Build, update, and maintain Olo menus for multiple brands
  • Complete brand menu requests with a high degree of accuracy
  • Support POS changes, including but not limited to products, tenders, order modes
  • Provide best practices from an Olo and POS perspective for clients based on their defined needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Effective communication and analysis skills to assess menu requests and articulate best practice recommendations
  • Proficient in the Olo platform with 1-2 years of direct experience in menu building and platform management
  • Proficient in a POS platform (Revel, Qu, Xenial/Xpient) with 1-2 years of direct experience in menu building and platform management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot quickly
  • High level of organization and ability to balance multiple projects, as well as managing different priorities
  • Ability to not only work independently on clients but also collaboratively with the greater team to proactively resolve any client concerns
  • Ability to work off hours for brand deployments

Tools/Software Knowledge

  • Required
    • At least 2 Years Olo Experience
    • At least 2 Years POS experience (i.e. Revel, Qu, Xenial/Xpient)
  • Nice to Have
    • Restaurants operations experience
    • Other SaaS solutions (Back office, Online Ordering, etc)
